  1. Hey Mark. I watched the first one on my drive. Good stuff. I was curious if you’ve ever looked at LTRX. IOT, Microsoft partnership recently.

  2. Hi Mark, have you checked out SSC? 180 mil rev in 1st Q, but margin was small. lots of partnerships. blockchain, AI and asset token play.

      1. In case it piques your interest, a little background DD from me. they did a total of $120 mil of revenues last year, although they guided for $300, they had to backtrack around that because of acct issues from their former auditors, have since changed auditors and proceeded to give a guidance this year of $280 mil plus $35 mil EBITDA for this year, although they had a blowout earnings this q1 at $180 mil, the margin was very slim, but CC revealed that they are trying to attract/bring in institutional investors and building up higher margins in upcoming qtrs. there is expectations to update guidance this year considering the blowout earnings in q1 but I feel that they are being conservative and letting the story take shape esp after the little bump last year.

David Seaberg is involved indirectly thru the shares granted by Wu whom is trying to transfer all his private assets from his company SSS, to his public company SSC. They have had lots of partnership inked with COSCO and Ocasia( both huge oil co) for oil assets trading thru blockchain, recently signed a partnership with China Venture Capital Research for its trillion dollar assets, and SSC has recently bought in and bought a campus in U COnn Hartford west, to turn this into their HQ and be their FINTECH village. They have $40 million dollars thru GT dollar and recently got $26 million dollars in investments. The company is still in its early stages but its trying to be a big player in Fintech space related to blockchain. So there is more but that is in a nutshell 🙂

  3. Hi Mark,

Thanks for your live broadcast yesterday. You got me thinking about something you said a month or two ago – which is that HMNY likely won’t end up well for common shareholders. However, isn’t Ted’s compensation, and a majority of his net worth, tied to the common stock? So isn’t he incentived to see the common stock appreciate? Or is there a way Ted can get massive gains on HMNY/MoviePass with the common stock still tanking?

    1. Yes, his equity is worthless right now, but he is still being paid a salary and will probably be privy to new stock options which will pay him handsomely if the company turns around.

        1. Who knows…. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Either way, I wouldn’t touch the stock with a 10 foot pole (long or short) until we get more clarity.

      1. Mark, do you think HMNY is going to 1 cent? Are you leaning bullish or bearish right now? Also, with all this publicity, Ted should be careful. He is getting Shkreli like attention now.

  4. Thanks Mark. I think RMBL is interesting. Online marketplace for motorcycles and expanding to power sports. Asset light and essentially a software company. Rapidly growing revenue and should be able to have earnings leverage once profitable. Thoughts?

  5. Hi Mark,

Do you follow stocks in the data center sector?

There seems to be an interesting binary outcome for GDS – and unique opportunity to either go long/short…

GDS Holdings Ltd. NASDAQ listed ADR. Fast grower (arguably over-valued with 400%+ rose) data center operator in China. Recently come under fire by a short seller report, from Blue Orca Capital, which caused the SP to plummet over 50%.

So either the company is engaged in fraudulent activities or it’s not. The short seller makes 5 main arguments. Just wondering if in your opinion – based on your experience of similar short attacks and the arguments presented – if this is worth pursuing. The short sellers arguments seem subjective and circumstantial – not something easily verifiable that company has committed fraud. If so, the company may be trading a significant discount.

    1. p.s. to answer your question, yes… I’ve followed the data center space for well over a decade… and I think that’s the last time I invested in one that wasn’t a megacap 😂

      Tough space!

  7. Hi Mark,

Thanks again for your reply to my earlier questions.

How much do you think insider buying activity influences the stock price for a given penny or micro-cap stock? Or perhaps, how useful is it to follow insider buying, especially if a stock is trading well below it’s 1-year or 2-year high?

    Like

    1. If there is a good amount of insider buying, that is usually a good sign (emphasis on “usually”). Insider selling is a useless indicator MOST of the time.

That being said, doing your research is more important than any of that. Sometimes even the insiders don’t know what they’re doing.

It’s really really (REALLY) funny to me, because most investors want to do everything except the few things that really matter. That’s probably because the few things that really matter require learning how to do them.

Meanwhile even children can do the other stuff, making people feel comfortable / confident that they know what they’re doing. That’s called a false sense of security.

A rising stock market only adds to that, but wait until a real correction hits. Those who aren’t properly educated are going to lose years worth of gains in months.

It has a way of separating the men from the boys. Two people enter a bear market with $100,000. Once the market fully recovers, the person who knows what he/she is doing has like 300,000 while the one who doesn’t had their original $100,000… if they’re lucky.

      Been there. Done that.

  8. I know ATTU has caught your attention again following that blow out quarter they just posted. I’ve been buying shares since they put out those numbers but the stock hasn’t stopped going up. I am still new at this, so any help in how you would recommend setting some future targets if they should be able to hit their goal of 200 million in total revenue?

    1. Congrats! That video paid nice dividends. It’s amazing what happens when you take the time to run the numbers and analyze the situation 🙌🏼

To answer your question, I’d start by watching my YouTube video about operating leverage. https://tinyurl.com/MoneyMarkYouTube

I haven’t built a leverage model for ATTU, which gives you the perfect opportunity to give it a shot. That will give you a GREAT roadmap of where EPS can go over the next couple years.

We’ll see if there’s more gas left in the tank. I’ll be happy to give your model a look / feedback when it’s done. Cheers!

  9. Also, I believe that Sprint has not yet sunset Location Labs. But they definitely plan to, and it is on their CC schedule every month. Not much more to say. This is from a direct source, dated today.
